SANTE FE SPRINGS, Calif. &ndash; Coaster Furniture has hired industry veteran Mindy Leitwein as its national account manager, a new position for the company. She is tasked with business growth across Coaster&rsquo;s distribution network.
Leitwein has more than two decades of experience in business development in the furniture industry. Most recently, she served as vice president of sales at Linon Powell Furniture, where she managed key accounts across seven states and was responsible for both brick-and-mortar stores and pure-play e-commerce. Before that, she owned a B2B sales firm that contracted with major furniture companies. At its peak, she managed a $50 million budget for the company.
&ldquo;Leitwein&rsquo;s deep experience makes her ideally suited to drive growth at retail, because she intimately understands the unique challenges dealers face whether they are small independents or national accounts,&rdquo; said Crystal Nguyen, vice president of merchandise and strategic product planning at Coaster. &ldquo;She is both process oriented and strategic, and she has demonstrated throughout her career that she knows how to put numbers on the board. We are thrilled she has joined the Coaster team.&rdquo;
Leitwein received her bachelor&rsquo;s degree in history from Earham College in Richmond, Ind., and received her MBA from Ohio State University. She will work remotely at Coaster, currently living in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband.
